Optimism Prevails at North Texas Nissan
New Marketing Campaign Sparks Dramatic Results!

March 3, 2010 - Denton, Texas

On the heels of one the toughest times in the auto industry, North Texas Nissan has posted a dramatic gain in sales during the first week of their new advertising campaign.

North Texas Nissan recently retained JKR Advertising & Marketing of Orlando, Florida to develop creative, conduct media negotiations and execute the buy. Richard Brauns, partner at JKR said, “I am acutely aware of the trust and responsibility North Texas Nissan has placed in us [JKR]. It is now more important than ever to break out and capture market share while the competition is hunkered down — thinking it’s a safe play. North Texas Nissan is stepping out of the box and firmly making its presence known.”

Wes Spence, General Manager of North Texas Nissan said, “[The success of the new campaign] is a matter of timing and dominating the media you buy.” He also added, “Our people love it, in addition to being a traffic builder, it’s been a terrific morale builder too. With the results we’ve seen so far, we’re tracking increases of 35-40% we expect to double our business over the coming year.

The new campaign is based largely upon radio and the stations have reported that listeners have been emailing and calling to get greater detail and more info about the dealership. Karen Nevitt, Media Director at JKR said, it’s a completely positive indicator when people call a station about an ad to get more detail – in the business we call it un-aided response – when people take this kind of action, it’s as good as it gets, as long as it’s reflected in sales.”

January 28, 2010, Orlando, Florida.

Senior partner Jeff Johnson announced today significant new business

for JKR Advertising and Marketing. The downtown Orlando agency’s

specialty is auto retail, billing nearly 42 million in media annually with

clients coast-to-coast.

 

Mr. Johnson in an internal memorandum to staff summarized the new

business, “This has been an eventful and productive beginning for 2010.

Because of the outstanding effort exerted by everybody at JKR, we have

been chosen as agency of record by two dealer groups and three family

owned stores - for a total of 14 dealerships. This means an additional 3.8

million dollars in annualized media billings.”

Mr. Johnson’s memo went on to say, “The past year has been the

toughest year for auto dealers in my memory, however, as you can see by

the new business we’ve just been entrusted with, and the confidence of

our current clients, I believe we’re seeing a very real up-tick in the

industry.”
